| Is Am.staff banned breed in UK or could i go there with one if i had? I haven't seen the breed on a list that has all the banned breeds of UK but i have heard from so many people (not british thou) that it IS so now i'm not sure and like to know what is the truth. | |

| Its not listed on the banned breeds, BUT, is the show version of the American PitBull - which is banned. Dogs that are pitbull 'type' are refused on the grounds it could be a Pit or Pit X, unless the owners can prove otherwise, or state your dog is a X Presa / Am Bull. | |

| Could i take Ismo with me if i went to England? You know he looks like pitbull /amstaff. I could put something like bokser/staffy mix or anything on his pasport but i can't prove his breed. I guess i would take a risk if i took him with me, or what do you think? | |

| The worse that could happen is u be returned to finland with Ismo, I think u probably could pass him off as a staffy x boxer, half of them dont know their arse from their elbows! | |

| I wouldn’t risk it . I cant find the link but there is a uk police site that has a community service warning video that shows a picture of a blue Amstaff and warns the public that if they see a dog like this they and there family are in danger and should call the police immediately . Ill keep searching when I find it ill post the link. Flying home to Australia from malta. Our amstaff had to stop in Heathrow for around 6 hours waiting for a transfer flight back to au. Speaking to the quarantine people in uk they told me that these were dangerous dogs and were worried she would bite someone during her stay at the airport. So do be careful for your dogs sake | |
